My Stress-Free Tax Day: A Shoutout to Boerne TaxAide powered by AARP! 🎉

Howdy, Boerne citizens! I just had to share my amazing tax day experience with y’all! On March 25, 2024, I headed over to the Patrick Heath Public Library. I checked in, and I was assigned to a counselor. Upon completion, another counselor reviewed it. I then provided my bank account information to pay my taxes electronically, and that’s it!

You see, the library is home to the Boerne TaxAide program powered by AARP volunteers, and let me tell you, these folks are nothing short of incredible. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with smiles and warmth from the AARP volunteers. They guided me through the entire tax preparation process with ease and patience, making sure I understood everything along the way.

But here’s the best part – they did it all for free using electronic filing. Yep, you heard that right! Thanks to their expertise and the power of technology, I was able to get my taxes sorted without spending a dime. By the way, I was told that they use the TaxSlayer system to prepare and file taxes.

I left the library feeling like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders, all thanks to the amazing team of Boerne TaxAide powered by AARP. If you’re ever in need of tax assistance, be sure to check them out at the Patrick Heath Public Library during tax season.
